What's new

What has changed in the game, newest first.

  • The Lock aim button now sits to the left of the power meter, so your thumb finds it in the same place every shot.

  • Live matches: play two to four friends at once, shot by shot, on a random nine, a past day's course or today's course once everyone has posted their round. Match play or stroke play, a shot clock, invite links, rematches and a head-to-head record against each opponent.
  • Someone without an account can join a live match from its invite link as a guest.
  • Friends and leagues: add friends by code or link, filter the leaderboards to them, and start a private league with a join code.
  • Practice: play today's course again once your round is in, replay past days, or try a random nine.
  • A guided tutorial on a few hand-built holes.
  • Share your result as text or as an image.
  • Memberships, with unlimited practice and the target range: five balls at a flag, scored by how close each finishes.
  • Two new course styles, forest and highland, with leaf piles, heather and boulders.
  • Sign in with a passkey, and password managers now fill in the sign-in form.
  • Double-tapping on a phone no longer zooms the page, and tapping into a form field no longer zooms in either.
  • Shot callouts no longer sit on top of the aim line, and dragging to look around the hole is steadier.

  • The first version: a new nine-hole course every day, the same for everyone, played with an aim line and a power meter.
  • Accounts, a daily leaderboard with past days, a weekly board, lifetime stats and shot-by-shot replays of finished rounds.
  • After a round you see your place, the size of the field and your percentile.
  • Lies that change power and spin, wedges that spin back, and putt rings in place of putting.
  • Parkland and links courses, wet, normal or firm ground, wind, water with penalty drops, island greens, rivers with bridges and cart paths.
